SINCE WHEN DID NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY ESTABLISHED AND ITS COMMUNITY SUPPORT FACILITIES AND BACKGROUND OF ITS ESTABLISHMENT?

The name, Northern Baltic Army was inspired by the country flags and culture of Poland and the three Baltic States: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Founded in October 1, 2017 and officially created on November 11, 2017 by David Rooseno with the first 3 members: Elga, Kevin, and Gregory.

WHAT WAS THE MAIN PURPOSE OR OBJECTIVE FOR THE FOUNDING OF NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY?

Initially, we only made it for meeting new people, but it went across our minds that we decided to expand and invite all those who live in Jakarta and within the JABODETABEK area to feel the fun of playing airsoft together, because in general people want to play but don't know how and where to play. With the team and community provided, we hope we can help them play airsoft with or without the weapon so we can play safe and excellent.

Besides that, We want to make airsoft as a sport can be enjoyed by anyone as long as they have fulfill the requirements without the control of money or other things (age,gender,job,etc.) and to reach out to the public to come and play airsoft with us. We want to fix the misunderstanding that because of its high prices and its clothing, everyone would consider airsoft a sport only to be played by the wealthy and people with bad intentions. For NBA, such things are forbidden and therefore airsoft has rules in regards to proper handling and use of the weapon or inappropiate uniform and clothing, to the point where if one resorts to creating chaos and violating other people's safety, should we intervene to straighten them up.

Northern Baltic Army's primary mission includes: Airsoft for all, Airsoft is safe, Airsoft is fun!

WHAT DOES NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY DO WHEN THERE'S A SESSION OR EVENT?

When there's a session, we usually give the team a briefing or have a group discussion about wearing the proper gear, having the right weapon that suits you, shooting reaction, gamemodes, and etc.

WHAT KIND OF A COMMUNITY OR TEAM ARE WE? OPEN? CLOSE? PROFIT? NON-PROFIT?

Northern Baltic Army is a community or team that is open to anyone who has the interest to join as long as they follow our guidelines and terms and conditions. This prevents us from misuse of airsoft and trust which could jeopardize our reputation and airsoft's reputation towards the public if members do not follow it.

Northern Baltic Army is a non-profit club, and if we do get a profit, it is used for the improvement of the club and its facilities.

WHAT ARE THE FACILITIES IN THIS CLUB?

Northern Baltic Army has a small office area around the Kuningan area and its preferred training location is located at Bear Hounds Pluit Village Mall for now.

During our sessions, we have a practice routine on shooting reaction and tactical team training.

WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO BE A MEMBER?

Although we do not have a age limit when it comes to joining us, but usually we put it around 14 years old. Below 14 years old would be overwatched by either the member's parents or our officers. Each member are given a role when observed by their officer and must be responsible at all times when it comes to supporting the team and making decisions.

It is mandatory for each and every member to understand the basic code of conduct of Airsoft such as not mentioning airsoft as a weapon. An airsoft weapon should not be loaded or used during your travel to our sessions and any misuse or violating other member's safety will be reported to the officer, parents, or guardian.

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE REGISTERED FOR NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY?

For now, NBA has thirteen members that are registered. The number of members said could increase or decrease because we want to recruit members who are serious, loyal and willing to work as a team and not as a lonewolf for one's own satisfaction.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF BEING A MEMBER OF A AIRSOFT TEAM?

The main benefits of the hobby is for the members themselves, improving shooting skills, fostering a good mental attitude and mindset, a healthy body, and can meet new people from various backgrounds and can create a sense of nationalism for NKRI.

DO EVERY COMMUNITY HAVE THEIR OWN DISCUSSION FORUMS AND WEBSITES?

NBA from the start has already owned a website northernbalticarmy.wixsite.com/northernbalticarmy for the community and to get to know us better, we have a whatsapp group and a forum as a social platform for our community.

WHAT'S BEING DISCUSSED OR THE THINGS BEING DONE DURING A GATHERING?

During our gathering or sessions, we would have a team meeting after each session about our club and its progress and the things need to be done for the future of NBA.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF JOINING THIS COMMUNITY?

Besides the main benefits of joining a community or playing it as a hobby, an airsofter can join our activities related to world military and police.

WHERE DO WE MEET? HOW MANY TIMES DO WE GATHER? WHERE DO WE USUALLY GO WHEN THERE'S A GATHERING? IS THERE A SPONSOR?

For non-formal gathering, it's up to our members where and when they want to meet up. Usually they would announce group gatherings in the whatsapp group chat.

For airsoft gatherings, we usually try to play two or three times a month. You can take a look at our schedule sections for updates.

HAS NBA BEEN INVOLVE WITH A COMPETITION OR TOURNAMENT BEFORE?

For now, NBA has not joined any competition or tournament but we will join one once we get a lot of members.

For us, trophies and medals are bonuses, because the things we want from airsoft is the feeling of unity, family and fun.

WHAT'S YOUR HOPE OF THE FUTURE FOR NBA?

We hope that Northern Baltic Army can always improve and expand further and our generations can continue to expand this club.

Hopes in general, we hope airsoft can be viewed as a positive activity and not misused by individuals who are irresponsible to the point where the public would have a wrong view of airsoft and its uses.

For national and international hopes, we hope airsoft can get a chance to be a sport event hosted during the SEA GAMES and cooperation between the community and the public to install discipline and sportsmanship.
