GENERIC AIRSOFT INFO

Brief History of Airsoft

The sport of Airsoft started in Japan during the early 1980s. While it was illegal to own firearms in Japan, there was still a significant interest in them. This resulted in a company producing spring-powered replicas of firearms that fired 6mm, plastic BBs.

Airsoft started appearing in North America and Europe during the middle of the 1990s, but it is only during the last 5-10 years that the sport started thriving in these venues. Airsoft uses 1:1 real world replicas of modern firearms of various types and styles.

THE BEGINNING

THE SPARTANS

The Spartans began around the year 2009 with a handful of friends and a couple of nerf guns. We used to stage small 4v4 to 6v6 nerf battles for fun.

It slowly became a America's Army Proving Grounds clan (AAPG) around 2014 before it broke up.

Later around October 2017, we changed our name from "The Spartans" to Northern Baltic Army because we wanted to represent the Baltic States composed of three small countries.

SPARTANS EVOLVED

THE NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY

After a break and long break-up back in 2014, the team began the year of 2017 with bang. A new plan was formed, and a team revision was put into motion. In October 2017, the Spartans were reborn as the Northern Baltic Army.

With military-simulation in mind, members of the team are constantly training and practicing. With the help of our friend, Bear Hounds One, we focus on success, dedication, tactical awareness, operational readiness, and efficiency. These will allow us to take on a multitude of different challenges. The team regularly practices with its own members and BHO members in scenarios ranging from close range skirmishes to detailed and challenging weekend long mil-sim games.

It is common for airsoft teams to emulate special forces teams or recon elements. The team has gone the other route and specializes in close range combat, taking and holding positions, and defending objectives. Northern Baltic Army is planning on being an operational squad that a commander can count on

JOINING NORTHERN BALTIC ARMY

Northern Baltic Army is always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. Our team is not meant for everyone, as some players realize when they consider joining our team.

We have lots of fun, participate in gaming and social events, hangout, and goof off... but we also train a lot, play as hard as we can, do a lot of military simulation (mil-sim) games and scenarios, require active attendance, and have higher expectations than some other teams.

If this sounds like a team you would like to be a part of, send us an message. The first step is to come out and play with us and make yourself known to our team members because all new members are brought into the team by a team vote.
